Deben Transport is an independent company formed in 1987. We run a modern fleet of 150, 44 tonne vehicles, with over 200 trailers of various sizes & types along with a dedicated fleet of between 40 and 50 Subcontractors. We specialise in container transport with offices within the vicinities of Felixstowe, Southampton & Hull Docks.

Our business has been established by developing very close working relationships with all our customers. We are extremely proud of our commitments, that come as standard, to providing a high level, cost effective, time definite, honest and reliable service.

After gaining years of experience within the transport industry I decided to take up the challenge in 1987 of establishing my own company. From the humble beginning of owning two second hand vehicles, one of which I drove myself, the seed was sown for the growth of Deben Transport Ltd  to begin. Little did I realise just how rapid and successful this growth would be.

This success has been attributed to our commitment to quality of service, reliability, co-operation and partnerships, and we are now recognised as being one of the most efficient and reliable container hauliers within the country.

Testament to this standing was proved when we received, from a major shipping line, the coveted awards of " National Haulier of the Year" for achieving service levels of 98.6% for over 7000 moves undertaken nationwide.

We endeavor to achieve and continually improve on our high levels of service for all our customers and we pride ourselves on achieving the highest level of performance and reliability possible.

Our team of high quality management, efficient, experienced drivers, and qualified maintenance workshop staff operate an extensive, modern and varied fleet of Deben Transport owned vehicles on behalf of an impressive portfolio of Shipping lines, Forwarders and Logistic companies.

We have in place a continuous investment program to ensure the update and support of our equipment keeps us at the forefront of efficiency and reliability within our industry.
